anglican church planting

Anglican churches are uniquely equipped for ministry in an increasingly post-Christian and complex context like Florence. Our ancient-future faith has an ideal character as being accessible and engaging to culture, while being distinct enough to access something incredibly better - a new life in Christ. We want to reach the next generation of leaders, creatives, students, professionals, and families. Our community will represent Florence as a multi-generational, multi-ethnic collection of people following King Jesus. Empowered by the Spirit, we will joyfully do the work that God has given us to do.

Matthew 9:37 - Then He said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few."

Acts 19:8 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. 9 But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. 10 This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.

We are called to equip clergy and congregations to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission (Mark 12:29-31; Matthew 28:19-20) by leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through personal discipleship, evangelism, and the nurturing and planting of congregations

.

We are focused on supporting the great work of our churches and clergy in the cities and towns of the Southeast United States. We are dedicated to helping church planters, pastors, and lay people reach the unchurched with the Gospel, through vibrant churches and new plants.
